how to make my lower back stronger?

Question:

Answers:
The muscles in the lower back are designed to offer slow movement and exert a large force over a long time.
The best way to streghtne these muscles are to exercise... you can do squat thrusts in your gynasium with or without weights to improve the stregth of the muscles in the lower back.

Situps are one form of exercise that provide extra stregth to the entire back and to the abdominal cavity. It is an easy, do-anywhere form of stretching that will be the most beneficial.

In order to alleviate back pains however, you really need to be certain you do not slouch in chairs and correct your posture while standing. You also need to wear shoes that allow the spine to be curved naturally rather than contorted. (High Heels are REALLY BAD FOR YOUR BACK).

Another major factor to developing the back is to sleep with very thin pillows. if you sleep with thick pillows, your spine is out of alignment during the night and you will have extreme pains in the morning. Also keep in mind that spring mattresses are HELL for the lower back if you sleep on your stomach or on your back at night. Invest in a Tempurpedic mattress made of memory foam.
