Has anybody heard about this and does it work? You rub your thumbnail with your other thumbnail to grow hair?

Question: Apparently rubbing thumbnail releases oxygen and reinvogrates hair follicle. Sounds like a hoax, but I understand it is very popular in some parts of the world.
