Why do I always get SEVERE STOMACH-ACHE if I play soccer or run AFTER eating a lot and fulled?
Question:
Thank you then.
Answers:
let the food digest 1st. You are gettinga dtomach ache because all the blood is going to the stomach muscles to help in digestion, tahts why the old wives tale to wait 30 mins after eating to go swimming blood leaves certain areas to go where the biggest muscle is using it at the moment(which will be the stomach as a really big muscle)
Other Answers:
Eat less, or eat earlier
If you need to eat before you play, fine. Just eat like an hour before - never eat right before and don't overeat. If you need to have something immediately before you play, then make it something small like an apple or something and have your bigger meal either an hour before you play or after. are you serious? why in the world would somebody decide to play soccer right after a copious lunch? c'mon.
