Is it my Gallbladder or my IBS?
Question:
Answers:
I had gallstones and ended up having my gallbladder removed. It was by chance they found the stones, b/c they were doing an ultrasound for some female issues. I had been bloated as you mentioned and just "yucky" feeling (kind of sick to the stomach, backaches, etc.). I was scheduled for gallbladder surgery approx 3 weeks after the discovery of the stones and the last few days before my surgery I started having the "typical" gallbladder pains.
PS: If you read info about gallstones it typically afflicts white, overweight, females, over forty...
The only categories I fit are that I am white and female (not your typical person with gallstones), so ANYONE can get them. My OB/GYN told me some studies show oral contraceptives can be a cause.
Good luck!

call your doctor.
In my opinion, you should have a doctor make sure that it's not something more serious than IBS. Those symptoms seem like more than just IBS which I have dealt with most of my life. So, see a doctor and make sure he does blood and urine tests and physically examines you.
I don't think it's IBS because you would be in SEVERE PAIN. I have IBS and my stomach muscles contract and the pain is similar to labor pains. I quit my stressful job, went on SSDI and moved out to the country. Now I don't have any symptoms for several months.
maybe gallbladder ,is it your right side , your doctor needs to check that out for you
