I am having dizzy spells and its only getting worse, what can cause this?

Fms runs in my family so I am concerned about that.
My hubby thinks its a pinched nerve I think its a brain tumor. Can anyone help me?

First and foremost, see a physician and get a blood test to try to detect any abnormalities.

Also. If you wear glasses/contacts, make sure your prescription hasn't gotten worse or better. Try taking them off and see how you feel. I only say this because it recently happened to me.

As said before, although very rare, brain tumors benign or otherwise can give symptoms of dizziness. However, other explanations are much more likely. If everything is spinning in circles that's vertigo. Usually caused by the inner ear. In that case it will be brought on by change in position, ie laying down on one side or bending over, basically moving your head ( and ears) from level. Not serious just annoying. You can try the exercise treatment listed on the site below. If it's not vertigo, just a woozy feeling, prob not serious either.
