how bad does it hurt when u break a bone?

Question:
either the arm or the leg

Answers:
when i broke my elbow i didn't even notice right away i thought it just got bruised

Other Answers:
Really bad. I hate to be so nonspecific, but, having never given birth, I can't imagine anything more painful.
depends on the type of fracture sweetheart. though the initial pain might be the same, the after treatment pain differs. i broke both my arm and leg. yeah u can call me an accident freak. i broke my arm when i was a kid and it was pretty painful infact but it was a hair line crack so it healed fast. my leg had multiple fractures with ligament rupture and that was pretty bad. i was out of action for six months as i had to have an steel rod implanted to support my leg. but most painful was i had to stop my karate practise during that time. ligament fracture hurts the most as no bone is broken, but it take a hell lot of time for the new nerve cells to form and new ligament to fill the gap.
bad really bad
not that bad unless you got a bone put out of place like i did and it didnt hurt that bad but a sprang hurts a little more than a broken bone
I broke the tibia, i.e. shin bone of one of my legs. It was agony. I
had no idea that pain like that existed. The nearest thing I can think of is putting your hand in the fire. . . . . and keeping it there . . .
I broke my arm and it really wasn't that painful. I was only 7 and didn't cry at all....well untill I saw the bone sticking out of my arm. Leg is probably a lot more painful - especially the thigh which is a huge bone and complicated to heal.
Its only one way to find out.
really bad!!! i only broke a little bone in my ankle but that hurt really bad, i could barely walk on it! i broke my cousins finger too and she said it totally like killed her! she said it swelled up really big and if she touched it she would be like dying! so if u ever have a chance to break a bone... dont!
