QUestion about my back, posture.?

Question:
I recently had an injury so I was confined to a bed for a few weeks. Because of this, I have lost significant strength in my back, and my back is now much flatter. I was in very good shape, but what now has happened is I have very strong legs and arms, but a weak midsection.

Because of this, my posture is not so good, and I have forward head posture, among other things. Also, my lats from my shoulders to my hips are far weaker.

I get some neck and head pain because of this back weakness. I have been doing exercises given to me to strengthen my back. Are any doctors or experts available who can ballpark how long it will be before I regain full back strength please? One month, three, a year? What? Thanks so much!

Answers:
After undergoing spinal surgery & having to spend 3months recuperating I can tell you that it took me about 3months after I was given the OK by my doctor.
Try some pilates, maybe with a private instructor, its great for the muscles in the back and the abdomen.
