Help with a broken arm question.?

Question:

If someone walked into a hospital with a broken arm, what would be the first step taken to treat it?

Answers:
first one would have to sign in and fill out paper work...

after that they have to set the arm(make it straight again). this may or may not involve surgery. Then they put a cast on you and send you home.

depending on how bad of a break it is, they may or may not put you under to set it.

First is an assessment of vitals; second would be an x ray third would be to either pull to set or if hairline, sling, cast done.

first they would ask if you have insurance then you would have to fill out paper work

vital signs, assessment of arm, blood work, and xrays...depending on xray results..once determined broken the ortho tech will place the cast (they have really cool colors you can choose from) prescribe you Motrin and discharge you...it's that simple..
