Does the Hepatitis B vaccine hurt a lot? Where is it injected?

Question:
I'm going to get it tomorrow and I'm terrified of shots. Tears come out of my eyes as I think about it.

Answers:
same size needle and shot as a flu shot - no big deal. remember there are three shots required for Hep B, the second one a month after the first, and the third 6 months later, before you develop full immunity.

Other Answers:
No, not at all, it will be a tiny needle injected on to your upper arm. Don't worry.

Probably injected in the arm.

Hurt like a mosquito bite.

They put it in your left shoulder. I had it done. It doesn't hurt AT ALL! well, you can feel it a bit, but hardly at all. Don't worry. Your going to be fine. You can still feel it a little while after. But other than that, it's fine.
