Healthcare field, students or grads plz help me?

Question:
I am a first year student at Mesa Community college? My plan is to transfer to ASU and I want to go to PA school or medical school but not sure which one yet. I want to hear from someone in the healthcare field, student or grad. Should I study in clinical laboratory science or as a Nurse or something else? I really need this advice so I can know what classes I should take and what path I should take. I want to hear from anyone in healthcare, student or grad., and I want any advice you can give me.

Thanks ppl.

Answers:
I'm a nursing student at William Carey and I would recommend going to nursing school. My reason for that is, it's a great stepping stone, and depending on your personal financial situation, you could work the rest of your time in school. Most positions you would receive as a nurse would work around your schedule and possibly offer tuition assistance. It's also great experience, the people we have in our clinicals that have some medical background seem to do very well. The best of luck in whatever you decide.

unless you are going to start right off going into Nursing, why not get a liberal arts degree and then either PA or Medical School? Good Luck in whatever you choose!
i am a clinical lab tech and i will insist that you do not come into this field. there is absolutely no gratification. every dept in the hospital hates the lab. do not, i repeat do not become a lab tech. no on cares about what you do and the pay sucks. it is extremely stressful. we are even lower than the custodial staff. please please please become a nurse, pa or if you have the time, money and smarts become a doctor. i am warning you. i am only 25 , have been a lab tech for 3 yearsand i hate my job with a PASSION!!!!!!!!!!! sometimes i wonder why i was such an idiot coming into this field. BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!
