good for u! keep up the good work. everyday is a struggle but u can do it. good luck
find an NA (narcotics anonymous) meeting and go as often as possible. i know it sounds SO stupid and cheezy but if you really want to quit and are serious about it -that's what you'll do. i did it cold turkey. keep away from the people you take drugs with... the need and want for drugs will start to linger a little after a few weeks to the point where it's just about bearable.but thats just me.then tis a matter of time..
Make up your mind about who is in control of the situation. You are smarter and greater than that drug. Therefore that drug only controlls you because you let it.

Think to yourself.
What do you have to lose if you continued doing drugs? Your family? Your job? Your social standing?
For example, when I was in high school, I ran cross country. Pretty darn good at it too. In the summer of my junior year, I started doing drugs. In my senior year, my lungs were shot. I couldn't breath while running. At the time, running was all I knew. Running cross country was not a sacrifice I wanted to make for getting high.
I evaluated my life way more important than doing pot. I was able to stop cold turkey.
It can be done. Just realize that your life is more meaningful and happy when you are not high or strung out. I did the same thing. I think it's the only way to go is to to quit on your own, so all the willpower to you because that's what you need. Really strong willpower. Stay away from the places you used to frequent and also from the people you used to use with. If possible move out of the area which is what I did. I know drugs are everywhere. It's a real bad area where I now reside but I don't know any of the people around here and they don't know me. The first few months will be hard but it gets easier. I am now 15 months clean and looking forward to 16 and so on. Good luck.
