What painkiller is stronger? Solpadol (Codeine) or Tramadol?

I've been prescribed these two for my back. I generally go to the Codeine first, then the Tramadol. Just wanted to know which one is stronger. Thank you.

I think it depends on your body chemistry.
Tramadol is the least addictive of the narcotics.
After a surgery I had earlier this spring I took Tramadol & I may as well have been taking baby aspirin, it just did nothing for me, but I had to have something to take during the day that didn't make me loopy at the office. Then I took other meds when I got home or on the weekend to help me sleep & handle the pain better.
You may want to see if the Codeine makes you sleepy & take that just at night time & the Tramadol during the day time if you have to drive or work.
