Answers:
YES!!!!!! The Giant pharmacy where I normally fill my prescriptions put me on the generic and told me, insistantly when I questioned the difference, that it was the exact same thing. I started noticing a difference after 4 or 5 days and then my pms started, which is why I am on it. After a horrible couple of days where I wanted to commit murder, when I wasn't in full on hysterics, I took my generic meds back and insisted that they give me the zoloft. The FDA apparently allows for a 25% DIFFERENTIAL up or down in dosage for companies producing generic meds. They don't tell you that at the pharmacy, just that it is the same thing and cheaper than the brand name. After two days back on zoloft, still pms'ing, I feel fine.
I had a hard time on zoloft, I dont remember if it was generic though, my mother in law and I felt more depressed than before. I switched to wellbutrin
