Has anyone heard of any strange illnesses and skin conditions in the Hurricane Katrina area?

Question: My husband"s work has bought us down here in the south, and i have been hearing of restoration workers catching staph and other unusual illnesses, could it be bacause of the conditions here?

It could...there was a lot of bacteria around with the mold and dead bodies laying around. I'd talk to a doctor or someone about it...let them know what you've been doing and things you've been around!
