Does eating on the floor better the digestion process?

Question:
Japanese and other Asian cultures eat while sitting on the floor. Does this have any bearing on the digestive process? Does it lessen the chances of getting indegestion?

Answers:
while sitting on the floor won't help digestion I've read it will help control portion control and you aren't as prone to overeating. Here's how. When sitting on the floor you are leaning over and your legs are pulled in closer to your body causing your stomach to be compressed a little more than if you were sitting in a chair. It is just an interesting little theory I thought I'd share :)

Lol, definitely not.
chairs are flat surfaces and we're sitting on them.
floors are flat surfaces and they sit on them.
not really a difference.
it's just their culture. way of living.
whatever way you wanna put it.

♥♥♥ i think it solely relies on what you eat more than the position your sitting at or what your doing while eating.
