hi my name is paul i am a paramedic up in Durban an assure you that your local or house doctor would not be informed about your visit unless you ask the doctor to inform him doctors don't have the time to phone each other they normally will give you a letter to give to your Doctor if he never did so don't worry about it unless you want your Doctor to know about your visit then you would have to ask him to contact your doctor for you
well all the best and i hope i was of assistance to you have a great night
Yep
no
Not always, depends why you were there.
If its serious enough they'll have to take a history of the patient call any doctors to see they're past records. Especially if you are at another hospital.
Usually your papers from the hospital are faxed over to your doctors office.
depends on the reason u went in there. at the doc office i worked at we would get notes from the ER if they were really bad but mosty we would have to request them once you schedule a follow up appt with your regular doc. if you don't schedule the follow up appt, your doc might never know you went there in the first place
My guess is that you went to the ER to get some pain pills, and that you are worried that your regular doctor might find out about it and not give you your pills. My aunt does this all the time.

I think it depends on what state that you live in, but she hasn't been caught yet.
if you provide the ER with your primary physician's name, they will get copies of everything that was done to you in the ER.
