what is best for a child with bronchitis? hot mist vaporizer or cool mist?

Question:

Answers:
Cool mist is the way to go anymore. Hot is just a burn hazard for everyone involved. Also, your doctor may prescribe a nebulizer. This machine delivers a medicated mist that is inhaled by the child. It works well for illnesses like this.

A Humidifier would work best

First of all..not sure "Bronchitis" is really an accurate diagnosis in a child (bronchiolitis? Asthma? croup? -- all far more likely choices!). In ANY case, however, COOL MIST is the mister/humidifier of the immediate air surrounding the child of choice.it's SAFER if it spills most importantly, plus misty air that's cool is the easiest to breathe in any case (think of a cool spring or autumn day!) as compared with warm/humid air (Jungle?) and cold/dry air (frosty winter's day).
Hope that helps..GOOD LUCK!
