How long does it take for bruised ribs to heal?

I am really not sure if they are broken or bruised. They don't hurt when I take in air and not to much when I cough but they do hurt when i touch them or put pressure on them.

If the bones themselves are bruised it can take a few weeks for them the heal completely, although the pain and sorness stick around for much longer. Just take it easy, stay limber so you dont get sore, take pain killer (motrin is best for bruised broken swollen things), and wait it out.

Even if they were cracked the most they would do is wrap them and tell you to take it easy.
