Are RMAs and LPNs perty much the same. It all depends where you work I guess.?

Question:
Just interested......I'm already a RMA, taking an LPN program.

Answers:
An RMA is a Registered Medical Assistant, right? There are a few, small differences. An LPN has more training in the day to day care of bedbound patients, because many LPNs work in hospitals or nursing homes. An LPN also is trained in intravenous therapy (IVs and IV meds).
Hope this helps!
