i just saw a medical show about a little girl who was born unable to feel pain.?

that got me wondering. if she has to have an operation, would she only be given a paralytic agent, or would anestesia to make her go to sleep be given, as well?

OH wow i never seen that or heard about it myself but, i can see where it would have good and bad points of course too it. Wouldn't it be great to go through life pain free? Some people would give anything to be like her but, on the other hand it is kinda bad due to the fact that pain is allot of the time the only way we know when something is wrong with us it is like a warning sign. So its kinda fifty fifty to me.

I'm no medical professional but I would assume they would treat her just like anyone else. Besides, if she was still small and had to have an operation, I'm sure her parents would want her to be out so it wouldn't cause her any mental trauma
