Do I have a parasite?

I've had lots of diarreah a lot for over 2 year since my trip to Ghana. I was tested for parasites but it came back negative. Is there any way a test could have missed it? I also heard that it could be gone and just left my bowels in rough shape. could that be true?

It is possible if they didn't test for the right things. I would ask for more complete tests. You may also want to see a gastroenterologist to have things checked out. You could have IBS or something else that needs treated by a medical doctor. It could also be something as simple as a food allergy. Try to pay attention to what you have eaten when you have a flare up and see if it might be linked to certain foods.

Yeah.IBS..Irritable Bowel Syndrome.or a parasite..Go to a doctor for Gods sake! Try taking Pro-Biotics you can get them at health food houses and most pharmacies over the counter.
