i have a hard knot around the area where my tounge was pierced and its sore, any insight as to the problem?

why can`t i sleep at night ?

Answers:
Scar tissue should not be sore. Pain and swelling are signs of infection. Try a simple solution, such as a salt water gargle (lots of recipes available online), which is great for healing simple mouth sores and irritations. If you do not see improvement in a day or two, develop a fever or further signs of illness, you need to see a doctor.

I think it depends on how long ago you got it pierced..

It must be healing. You might want to check it out.

My personal opinion is, I cannot for the life of me understand why people have to pierce their tongues. Then again, to each their own.

I turned in a Director of my Health Care Center for unethical practices nothing was done..what can I do?

It is possible it is scar tissue. But if the lump has just developed and has not been there long I would go to a doctor to have it checked out. You might have an abcess developing within your tongue. This would not be good because it would have to be lanced and sewn up then you would have to be on antibiotics for quite a while.

I agree with another poster I can't imagine why someone would do this but good luck and I hope you have few problems with it.

Can People understand to communicate with Holy Spirit means Angels teach you how to heal self?

Id go back to the place where it was done and ask them to look at it. Have you tried disinfecting your mouth with mouthwash regularly for a number of days?

I had to take mine out after 3 weeks because it started causing pain in my ear. It looked so good but now I don't think its worth it. Good luck with yours though, hopefully you'll be able to keep it.

okay, pretend I'm like 10 years old. Now,can you explain how deductibles work?

Sounds like a keloid to me.Go back to the piercer.See what he/she says.
