Health care in prisons?

Question:

I'm writing a piece for an encyclopedia on what type of health care is given in prisons. This modality will include a segment on psychological care. I was wondering if anyone wanted to contribute information?

Answers:
The only thing I can tell you is that they get alot more health care than anyone on the street, we pay for it in our tax $$$, But also they dont get help right away when they need it. They have to wait in line with the rest of the prisoners. Especially after they keep moving and moving and moving you around to different beds and rooms and stuff like that. Good Luck!!!

generally speaking they get better caure than the average joe on the street and you get to pay for it
