not human poop.many animals do carry the e-coli bug,and are impervious to it.think of it like salmonella,chickens will not get sick from it but humans can.so,if human poop has e-coli,you are sick,and you will soon know it. e-coli also can exsist in soil,(why spinach had it)which is why we need to wash or cook all "ground" fruits and vegetables,lettuces,melons,eve... if you don't eat the outside you still need to wash it because a knife to cut it will carry the bacteria through the flesh.
