Keep on smoking...pay £5 a packet per day for the next 60yrs, at today's prices that will cost you one hundred and ten thousand pounds.Your clothes and hair will always smell like an ash tray. your breath will stink and teeth be permanently yellow. Not to mention serious damage to lungs stomach and heart. But you'll look big every time you light up just like all the other weak-willed fools. You keep on smoking cause you won't be able to stop it's habit forming.. every bit as addictive as a classA drug. Besides how else will the government raise £100.000 tax from you? Good luck see you in the chest clinic..

you HAVE to quit NOW!!!!!
I can't be that hard to stop at 15??
Seriously, you don't want to get to 30 and be out of breath all the time and fell like crap!!
Just stop smoking them, that the best way.
If you want to give up then just do it. You have to want to do it in order to be successful.
Also try putting the money you would spend on fags in a jar, then empty it after a month to see how much you have and spend it on something really nice.
pot's a lot better and not as bad for you
addiction's a load of bull. i smoked loads in my teens, incongruously, and not at one point did i become addicted. this isn't phucking heroin. it really isn't hard to stop
quit while you can,...im 24 started when i was also 15 and now i smoke almost 20 aday and that is alot of money .....you are still young you can kick the habbit quickly!!!
stop now
I am a teen (13) but i don't smoke. There are some great selfhelp tapes available all over the place or you can try self hypnosis.
Until then everytime you feel you need a ciggie have a stick of gum! :-)
give up now while ya can i started when i was 13, im now 21 and i really regret it x x
Im really pleased you are taking the first step to stop smoking, i.e. you want to. I stopped smoking a year ago and it really was easy for me, if I had thought it was that easy I would have done it much sooner. I used patches at first then I didnt need them anymore but there are a lot of remedies out there. Go to your Doctor and ask to be put on the programme and they will be able to help you. The first couple of weeks were the worst. But after thast it really was plain sailing. Good luck and go for it!
Stop now please
Anyone that tells you all you need is willpower then they are stupid. When I first tried to stop it did not work as all I had was willpower. Then after a while I decided enough was enough. I went to the doctors and they gave me some patches and I went back to them for follow up appointments. The doctors will help you get through it, it is not that hard if you get help and support.
Good luck with the non smoking, I know you can do it.

I hoe there is something amongst that lot to help you. Your local pharmacy can also give advice and maybe supply you with products such as patches, gum or lozenges to help remove the cravings.
Why on earth have you started to smoke?
Don't you like your clothes & breathe to smell good?
You should stay away from the crowd of smokers. You need to have will power to stop.
Why don't you put your cigarette money into a pot & see how much you could save?
I only smoked for a bit when I was younger than you, but as a youngster, I wasn't inhaling properly so I didn't become addicted. I just decided one day that there had to be soemthing better for me to do.
The NHS have a free helpline. I'm sure it's confidential, but they can help you.
Good luck :-)
Cold Turkey is the best way. And at 15 you won't be as addicted as you would be after 30 years of smoking. Just do it now because it's so much harder when you've been doing it for a long time. I started when I was about your age and now I'm so addicted I cry when I want one real bad. Good Luck, hon.
I stopped smoking 6 years ago,,,,,How did I do it? I just did. I put them in the trash and never looked at them again. Now sometimes that is not soo easy but.....that is the only effective way for you to quit. Part of what helped me was that I became angry that they controlled me like they did. It is all mental after the first three days without one
Pot is not "better for You". One joint equals one cigarette. Plus it makes you unmotivated...sometimes a loser...pot heads lose brain cells at a tremendous rate. Talk to a pot head and determine for yourself how little logic they possess.
Smoking cigarettes....just quit.
How does a 15 yr old afford to smoke anyway?!?
I started smoking at the same age as you, now 16 years on i am still smoking, my teeth are stained and my health is not good.
Get some help now - i am trying 'The Alan Carr' book on the link below (it is supposed to be very good) and nicotene replacement patches (go see your GP)
Try this NHS link- http://www.givingupsmoking.co.uk
Good luck x
STOP NOW!!! If you ever get married and have kids it will affect their help and it can take ten whole years off of your life. maybe you could try to find something you like better than smoking like candy!! Or try a new sport like tennis or gymnastics. You can then think to yourself that "Wow I wont ever be able to do this if I keep on smoking" try chewing regular gum. You need to stop NOW!!!!
you should stop smoking because i do smoke *** everyday
It's amazing how self-righteous people get about cigarettes, and yet many of them drink regularly; alcohol is as bad if not worse. So is eating unhealthy food.
Enjoy life moderately, and don't give yourself too many hang-ups.
There's lots of help for people looking to quit at the moment, because people are becoming much more aware of the risks to health and because of the smoking ban in Ireland and Scotland (and England too soon).
You don't need me or anyone else here lecturing you about why you shouldn't smoke and telling you you are way too young to have started - its not helpful. The good thing is that you want to quit and when you do, you'll be doing yourself a huge favour. the links below give good advice and suggestions.
when u crave a cig have a sweet or something to suck take your mind off wanting cig an drink orange juice i quit after 4 yrs of smoking 3 yrs 20 a day stop now there are always people there to talk to on the nhs helpline they helped me
