Eating Makes Me Sick.?
Question:
Answers:
oh boy I got this one, I was 17 with the same problem. Your depressed, you don't realize it but something in your life is stressing you. It takes its toll you start eating less and less and you don't realize the problem until you get another problem. I lost 40 lbs in 2 months and never knew what was wrong, I was hungry I'd eat and I'd get sick, felt like I ate too much. The best solution is to try walking 1 mile a day it will make your body heal its self that is what you need.
Other Answers:
take a pregnancy test
i think it's anorexia. you have to consult the doctor/psychologist about that. see what they can do. Pregnant?
hey then stop eating and end u r life. It is the best solution, falling sick again again it is best to end u r life .
have you recently started taking any supplements or multi-vitamins. if so, check out the labels b/c these can generally cause that sort of issue. if not, could you be pregnant? or have a more serious condition?
If it is not a physical problem in origin then I would definetely explore the psychological aspects. not to be nosey or anything but are you anorexic or do you have an eating disorder? that would be the obvious answer. If it's not that.in my experience, I get that way under a lot of stress or when I've got big transitions going on.
If you're not losing tons of weight then I wouldn't worry about it. Or, if you are, maybe go see your doctor. maybe you have an ulcer or something
I've had that feeling alot during the 2nd semester of college. My roommate got this 24 hour bug where he couldn't stop throwing up for the whole day. I was lucky enough to catch it too, but it never totally went away. For a few good months, I couldn't really eat as much as I used to be able to. The remedy for me was just good old home cooking though, I forced myself to eat as much as I possibly could, and I feel fine again. If it's been going on for a while you should probably see a doctor of some sorts.. Could be a lot of things, including an ulcer or reflux. The only way to know is to consult a doctor.
Eating a diet that stresses protein (poultry and fish are best, unless you are a vegetarian and then soy is very good), low glycemic carbohydrates (look up a glycemic index) and good fat (olive oil for cooking, almonds or peanuts for snacking), may help.
If even the thought of eating just a few bites or the above, makes you feel nauseous, try drinking a protein based smoothie. Start small, like a 1/2 cup every 1/2 hour until you have finished it. Don't forget to drink about the same amount of water with the smoothie.
I cannot say what the problem is, but it might be a food allergy. My husband cannot eat bread or anything with wheat, oats, barley or rye in it without getting congested. Try to make a list of those foods that immediately make you start to gag, and don't eat them.
Definitely make an appointment with your doctor for as soon as possible.
