What would cause high potassium levels in my blood?

Several things can cause high potassium...kidney, heart problems, loss of fluids, vomiting. High potassium is dangerous and can stop the heart from beating. It needs to be checked out and taken care of.

Wow. That could be any number of different things. Too much potassium in your diet, or taking supplements. Are you on any diuretic medication (lasix, spironolactone, etc.), or any heart meds? Have any problems w/ your kidney function?
