What can be done about a frozen shoulder?

Question:
My partner fractured her elbow 3 months ago. It was operated on and a plaster was put on for three weeks. When the plaster was taken off she had got a frozen shoulder. The physio does not want to see her for treatment to her elbow until the frozen shoulder is healed. Can anyone shed light on a cure. She has tried acupuncture but to no avail. Regards

Frozen shoulder - very painful to the extent of hardly being able to manage body hygiene effectively. This condtion, in most cases has to clear up on its own.
I had it several years ago, had a lot of therapy and excercise programs which did no good at all. It took one full year to mend itself.
I have had pain in my shoulder for years - I have tried everything but the best treatment is a good osteopath
