Hemofer is a drug, available at leading drugstores nationwide.
Hemofer contains radix angelicae sinensis (dong quai), also known as the female ginseng, that enriches blood, activates blood circulation, regulates menstruation and relieves pain. Unlike other food supplements, Hemofer does not contain synthetic preparations like steroids and hormones. It can be taken one to two tablespoons, two to three times a day on a stomach full, depending on the severity of the symptoms.
