has anyone had a pain on their left side just below the ribs? did you know what it was?
Question:
Answers:
If by "below the ribs" you mean in the upper abdomen, then there are a few things in that region that it could be, such as an inflammation of the pancreas, of a "stitch" in the diaphragm. In that part of the body, though, (anywhere in the upper abdomen) is is usually a sign of gastrointestinal distress.
My advice is to take some plain Tylenol, as well as something for an upset stomach like Pepito bismol or Maalox or tums. If the pain continues to worsen, if it recurs twice or more in three days, or is it continues for more than twenty-four hours, see a doctor.

angina.
talk to your doctor... it could be a problem.
Ask your doctor. You don't give your age and that could be a relevant factor
Yeah. My gf just kicked me there for looking too long @ pix of Heidi Klum. U do that 2. She gon' kick u2.
It sounds like something to do with your lungs. I'd go see a doctor if the pain comes back or if you're really worried about it.
I did once after driving in the same position for a couple of days. The doctor told me that I had just irritated the lining around the lungs from the way I was holding my hands while driving and game me an anti inflammatory medication. After a few days it went away.
I get that too! Like a couple of times a week. It goes away after a few minutes.
I don't know what it is, but I am going to keep a watch on this question in case anyone else knows!
I don't know about you, but I think I'm too young for angina.
It's possibly a problem with the colon.
It's best to check with your doctor if you're having health problems.
yes, i had, ussually after violent strenous exercise. It is thought to be due to splenic contraction( a violent one). The spleen is an organ that has most of all inmunological functions, but it is also a reservoir for red blood cells, and in some ocassions( anemia, exercise, blood loss) it can contract like a pump to donate this red cells to the blood stream. Sometimes the contrraction is very violent, and ti is percieved like an accute pain in the lower left region of the rib cage, because the spleen is located next to the stomach in the abdominal cavity.
