how can you get rid of calluses on your feet. Mine are constantly peeling?

Question:
I went barefoot for years and now find it hard to walk barefooted. My feet now are really sore.

Answers:
Start off buy buying something called Mr Pumice (i think) at Sally's Beauty Supply. It is a good scrubber. You will also need one of those callus shavers and a thick foot lotion. They have some at Wal-Mart by Dr Schoals I think.

Anyway, soak your feet for ten minutes and then using the scrubber with some thick hair conditioner on it scrub away at your calluses. Dont do it too much this first time. Then get out dry your feet and you should see the calluses seem white (as that is dead skin and from soaking, etc.) use your shaver (be careful with this) and lightly shave even layers off of the callus. Dont go too far this time. Stop and then put a thick layer of cream on your feet and then put on socks. Leave on over night or put your shoes on and go about your day. Do this routine (maybe not the shaving part so often) about every other day until you get your feet nice and soft and then daily right before you get out of the shower scrub your problem areas real quick with the Pumice and that will keep it from building up again.
