pharmacy here in the phils. is just a 4year course.. but the way people treat them is like a clerk at a drugstore..
You'd probably make more money as a PharmD. In the field of Neuro Biology would there be jobs available except in the academic atmosphere. I had a friend once who had a PhD in lichenology. He couldn't get a job anywhere and ended up being a Army PFC. Look at the options open to you, once you've finished the degree.
PahrmD is more rewarding financially but it becomes mechanical and boring after a time. Neuro biology only pays if you go to the top but it is really challenging and will be more satisfying mentally. I will opt for Neuro biology but off course its just a matter of taste.
