How do you cure 'pink eye'?

Question:
I don't want to waste money going to a doctor, does anybody have any home remedies?

Answers:
If you have suspected conjunctivitis you can speak to a pharmacist for free and buy "Optrex - infected eyes" eye drops for about £5 over the counter. It is an antibiotic eye drop, generic name chloramphenicol.

Other Answers:
You need an antibiotic eye drop to rid yourself of conjunctivitis. You need to go to the doctor because your eyes will become greatly infected if you don't. It is also highly contagious.
It is not a waste of money to take good care of yourself. If it is a strep infection, you could go blind if you neglect to treat it. go to a doctor
You must go to an eye doctor or GP. There are no good home remedies. Pink eye is conjunctivitis and it's contagious. Change your pillowcase frequently and don't share washcloths. Wash your hand often. You need antibiotic eye drops for about a week to 10 day. If you don't want to spend money, just go to the ER or a free clinic. Please....go see an eye doctor or GP :-)
