A dr (when I was in college and had strep) said it could go into your bloodstream and kidneys and cause a strep infection which could be deadly - I assume he wasn't just trying to scare me into taking care of myself - tho it worked!

u can get scarlet fever and die.
it can lead to scarlet fever if left untreated long enough. i once had strep and didn't realize it until i actually took a look and had blisters on my throat and stuff. don't wait that long, it sucks. Rheumatic fever and permanent heart damage.
your tonsils will fall off and you'll choke on them! na just playing..anyways why in the hell would you leave it untreated? you shouldn't even be asking this.
