i use to be a special needs helper and one of the children i cared for had the mmr jab within 3 weeks the child stopped talking and showed signs of autism i would defiantly link that specific case with the mmr jab

I definetly think there is a link between the vaccinations that have mercury and the upswing in the incident in Autism. There has not been a proven scientific link yet, but they have no other explination either. A pediatric neurologist friend of mine told me that she is convinced also that mercury in vaccines is most likely the source.

Most countries around the world use the combined MMR under the advice of the World Health Organisation. Any correlation between autism and MMR was due to the age of vaccination being the same as when initial diagnoses of autism are made - due to developmental milestones that coincide with immunisation.

I have a two year old and a four year old who have had all the vaccinations and thankfully they are ok. i mix socially with alot of mothers and yet i dont know anyone who has an autistic child.I do personally believe there is a link but there also has to be a conmmon denominator they havent discovered as yet.i think media coverage of autism has brought it to peoples attention but i believe it has always been around.Mozart was autistic he didnt have the vaccines?

I do voluntary work, helping parents with autistic children. Many ARE convinced that the MMR jab was a factor in developing autism.

A friend of mine has 4 children. The first 2 were given MMR, and immediately changed. both were then diagnosed with autism. The second 2 were NOT given the MMR, and they are fine.

My theory is that some families may carry a faulty gene, which makes their children at risk from the MMR

Blair never did say whether Leo had the jab or not. Surely if he'd had it Tony Blair would have said. What is all that rubbish about protecting the privacy of his children. He's quick enough to put them in front of the cameras when it suits him, and it's not exactly sensitive information (unless of course Tony Blair is urging the nation to inject their children with something which isn't good enough for his child!!!

Without a doubt it happened to a son of my neice, would not let my children have the vaccine.
