Anyone had similiar symptoms?

Question:
I have been very sick for about 10 days now. It started with bad nausea, then a few days later I started having dull abominal pains, which have now been radiating up my chest and into my back. I went to the student health center and they thought it had something to do with my ovaries and they sent me to get a pelvic ultrasound, which came back normal. Then they referred me to a surgeon and he sent me for a CT scan on friday. (I have already had my appendix removed). This morning I had a yellowish-orange crusty discharge in my navel that had a very foul smell. I called the answering service for the surgeon and he is going to see me tomorrow. He said the radiologist said that everything seemed normal in my CT scan, but the Dr. said he wants to look over it with a fine tooth come himself. Has anyone ever had similar symptoms or have any idea what could be the problem, I am really sick of being sick! I am a 20 year old female if that helps any.

Answers:
Did they do any bloodwork? It sounds like you have an infection somewhere in your abdomen. You may need to have surgery before the doctor can find out what is going on. Good luck; I hope you feel better soon! ;)

The navel thing may or may not be related to what is wrong with you. Alot of folks don't know that if they don't clean their navels, it can get infected, hurt, and have that odor with the crust. For that I would take a q-tip and clean it out with alcohol and then lay down on the bed and pour a small amount of paroxide in there and let it boil it clean.
The other could be anything from gall bladder to you having caught something or food poisoning. Hope you feel better.
u look like u ve a condition called "omphalitis" with sinus. since the navel is a plce where v tend not to clean too often, its often susceptible to infection.

also u may ve a "meckle diverticulum fistula" where there may be a connection between ur intestine and umbilicus. that also explains ur pain abdomen...coz in diverticulitis this is a common denominator

dont worry ur surgeon can easily pick out either conditions
