Answers:
It takes about 2 semesters of prereque's. Then you can apply the actual nursing part of the program, which is 2 years for an associate's degree. You can be done in 2.5 to 3 years with all of it. Depends on where you live, but there may be a wait to get in, since they only take a limited amount of people each year.

It takes a bachelor's degree (4 years) to become a registered nurse. Check with your local hospital; some have nursing programs where you get your degree while working and taking classes. That is how my sister got her RN. You can always start at a community college and get your CNA and LPN first, then go on and get your RN.

I have a vision 6+ is that good or bad?
It all depends where you live, in Ontario, Canada to get a Registered Nurses Degree, you have to go to university, we no longer have college trained Registered Nurses coming out of schools. It takes 4 years and i'm unsure of pre requisites, but you can apply right into the program.
If you check out your local college and university websites or make some telephone calls, i'm sure you can figure out the information you need.
Good Luck!
