what is spradic stomach cramping with diahhrea?

Question: I just got off antibiotic for cat bite and yesterday this cramping just started. Diahhrea came with antibiotic use and I stll have it after a week. Cramps are very painful, and lasts 20-30 secs every so often

Could still be residual from antibiotic, plus your stomach is irritated from frequent diarrhea. have you tried any over the counter remedies? (immodium, pepto) I would say if the cramps and diarrhea continue to be a problem (don't wait more than one day) then you should contact your doctor to make sure something else isn't going on. Try to drink plenty of fluids so you don't get dehydrated. Try a heating pad across your abdomen to see if that helps the cramps. But if you start to run a fever, the cramps get worse or the pain is on one side of your abdomen get to the doctor! Good luck and I hope you get to feeling better!
