There is no cure per se. However, some people develop symptoms, including arthritis, when they are having a mild allergic reactions to foods in their diets. It seems odd, I know, but some people find relief if they eliminate certain foods. Generally it is recommended that you stop eating gluten, dairy, and eggs for 2 -4 weeks. If you see no improvements in that time span, then it isn't your problem. If you get better you add back each item one at a time every three days. You will likely get the symptoms back within 48 hours of eating the food. Obviously, once you have discovered what you are sensitive to, eliminate it from your diet. There are lots of resources out there to assist you in alternatives to these foods.
I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid arthritis last summer and no there isn't a cure from all of my research.
I have good results with walmart brand edxedrin and ibuprophen. Two of each every 4hrs. I have been in a fair remission since the
spring but just now am back in a flare. Mine is presently
in my wrists and lower arms. Last year was both knees and jaw and wrists and shoulders, so it is much better.
When you get up first thing rotate your wrists, open and close your hands, I find I can work out the worst stiffness and pain doing this so I can function.
I personally have had bad side effects from prescribed drugs. Good Luck, I definitely sympathize.
