Amoxillin is an antibotic. It wont make you sleepy or anything like that.. Taken as directed it should cure what ails you. hope you feel better soon.

Other Answers:
If anything, it may make you a bit sleepy, although when I take it, I don't feel much/any change at all.

No it will not keep you awake. However you would be better off starting your doses first thing in the a.m.. That way you can keep better track of the dose times. it's an antibiotic..won't keep you awake like a stimulant.won't make you drowsy like a decongestant..

may upset your stomach..

nothing at all, except help you with whatever infection you have this is an antibiotic, when you are done with all of it you have been perscribed to take then eat some yogurt to put the good bacteria back in your system.
I hope you get better soon.
good luck

Nothing at all. My daughter used to get them for her ear aches. No side effects, honest. amoxicillin doesn't keep you awake probably a little sleepy at the most . can get you stomach craps .

Amoxicillin is a penicillin-like antibiotic, more readily absorbed than penicillin. It is not an antihistaminic medication that will make you drowsy. However, always check with your physician before you take any prescription medication.Do you know what you are treating? Are you allergic to any penicillin-like antibiotics? If you are, you should not take penicillin. Again, check with your doctor.

it will make you feel great and you ll have energy to do something , you ll feel like exercising , but it should not keep you from sleeping and it wont knock you out like Benadryl , great stuff youll feel all better in a few days

No. You shouldn't notice anything. It's an antibiotic and doesn't contain med that will make you drowsy like Benadryl that has antihistamine in it. Your body temp might rise a little because it is working to fight off infection, but I doubt it will make you feel any different. However, sometimes, antibiotics can give you nausea.
