Is there any way to find out how much COBRA ins will be before i quit my job?
Question:
Answers:
It's a federal requirement that employers inform employees of COBRA rules.
Your H/R dept. can give you these #'s but that might tip your hand about leaving. A better way is to look at your paystub and add what you pay and what the company pays.
COBRA only means they will "allow" you to continue your current insurance but WITHOUT the employer paid portion. You will have to pay the WHOLE premium to continue.
Other Answers:
Call personnel or human resources for your company and ask. They should be able to tell you.
You will need to contact your company personnel or insurance office. They are the only ones who know exactly what your premiums will be if you quit.
You could ask someone in your HR department.but on second thought.that might not be the best idea. Maybe if you called the insurance company. Prepare to hold.
You can call the Insurance Company direct they will tell you
