my meds seems to to have stop working?

Question: I am taking a med call norco 10/325. I have been for about 1 month before that i was taking vocodin 10/500. the perscribtion says no more than 5 tabs a day. I have great pain and i was taking one tab every 4 to 5 hours but the meds wear off in about 11/2 to 2 hours the longest it will last is 3 hours in some cases.Now, in order to move without pain i am taking two every 5 hours and that is not helping i still feel pain and now i am nauasu a good part of the time and my back and leg still hurts. I think that my body has gotten use to the meds and they have stop working. Is there another med I can talk to my about? Oh! I take a med that suppose to stop the sickness in my stomack and that does not work. Help. I suffer from nerve damage in my lower back.

It is very possible that you have built up a tolerance to Norco and are not getting the relief from pain that you did at the start. Yes, there are other pain relievers that your doctor can prescribe. Don't put off making an appointment as soon as you can, why keep suffering? And let your doctor know that your stomach medicine isn't helping either. Hope you're better soon.
