my worst enemy "broke his thigh"?

Question:
my worst enemy, john haven't been swimming for a long time and me and him is in the swim team.... but he haven't been showing up.. and so my friend told me that he told her that "he broke his thigh" and when he walks, he's all limping. what does "breaking his thigh mean" i wanna tell all the swim team people cuz everyone thinks i like him and i don't... and i want them to know i don't so i wanna humilate him.. umm he's really mean to me too so what is breaking a thigh?

Answers:
Most likely he didn't break the femur because that takes a lot of force, like being hit by a car. Also, he probably wouldn't be walking on it much. Most likely he hurt it in another way. It's impossible to know what was meant from this third hand story. I don't know how you hope to humiliate him but I hope you reconsider. People don't think very highly of guys who gloat over other's misfortunes.

Other Answers:
OMG you are so retarded lol, his thigh is the upper part of his leg
PROBABLY MEANS BROKE THE BONE IN HIS THIGH, WHICH IS THE FIBIA BONE.
He probably pulled a muscle in his thigh.
P.S.
Stay in school and study harder. Your writing skills are pathetic.
You don't get out much do you? You have these things inside your body called "bones". The are like the structure of your body so you don't just flop around like a jelly fish. Your teammate broke one of these in his upper leg. That's why he is walking funny.
karma is a powerful thing...when you wish others harm it may come back to you instead! grow up! If he broke his femur, it is very very painful!
I have to agree, you need to study harder. PAY ATTENTION in spelling and grammar. Oh, and in biology when they discuss anatomy.
He either has a broken thigh bone or a deep laceration(cut) in his thigh.
If he said that he "broke his thigh", it means a broken bone. If he has been gone for months, and he's limping, he might have just had the cast removed.
Is one leg darker than the other?
yay he broke his thigh! serves him right!
