question about car accident settlement?

i got in a car accident in february, had to go to a chiro for 3 mo. and was told not to exercise for another 3 mo. now the other insurance co wants to settle, i negotiated it a little higher than what they offered me (barely anything!!), but i recently did pilates and my neck/back/head ache has come back. what should i do?

usually if you settle they make you agree not to sue for more money latter on so don`t settle till your sure

If you have accepted their settlement, you have already signed something saying that you can't sue for more. So move on with your life. It is a fact that people who have been in car accidents often suffer with after-effects for many years. That's just the way it is.

how old are you.don't settle yet.find out 1.are you going to need pt.. are you going for schooling to do any type of job you did no do before.did you have an MRI.go to a specialist. doctor........my daughter fractured 1 bone in her knee and had to go for re-training...........62,000 is what we settled for.and we can re-open the case when in 30 years............good luck.

Having worked as a Legal Nurse Consultant on a number of whiplash injury cases, I would advise you to talk to an accident-injury lawyer since they don't require a fee upfront. Whiplash injury can cause a whole lot of neurological damage to your brain and spine (check out "whiplash injury", "post - whiplash injuries" or "post-traumatic brain injuries" in a search engine on line). The problem with this type of "closed" injury is that tiny blood vessels hemorrhage and cells are destroyed at microscopic levels, your thyroid gland can hemorrhage leading to post-whiplash onset of fibromyalgia, your spine and spinal cord could have suffered injuries that are not easily "seen" by simple x-rays. I would call an accident injury lawyer. They would refer you to see your primary care doctor, and get a neurology referral for better, thorough evaluation of your injuries. There are just so many things that can surface after some time (like you're saying) that can have a life-long effect on you. If you were one of my family, I'd already have had you in for a neurology work-up, and, of course, I would've already turned the case over to the lawyer that used to employ me - as the other insurance co. should pay for your further medical needs ath this time - and will only do so if a case is open.
