Human Rights Watch is one organization that focuses on those issues worldwide. So does Amnesty International.

My favorite, though, is Freedom House, which reports on issues everywhere, rates freedom levels in each country, and updates frequently.

there are so many that this is hard to answer, and every organization has a different idea of what is a human rights issue. the TMC Asser Institute has a humanitarian law section that has more of a European vision on human rights issues. The U.S. tends to have a different view. For instance, does human rights mean a right to water and food, or does it mean a right to demonstrate against your government, or does it mean a right to fair elections. I'd start with a google search using human rights issues and page through to see what it is you are interested in. If you're just interested in statistics, do a google search like this: human rights .gov that will give you only government websites.

Go to Care2.com. they have all kinds of groups to join & alot of them are human rights issues. They will connect you to the group you are most interested in. They also have all kinds of petitions you can sign. And you can make friends with similar interests. They give news articles about almost any subject you are interested in. u can go to the citizen advice bureau they will tell u what to do because they specialise in things like that and is free of charge give it a try it might answer ur question
