Bladder Infections?

Question:
Are they contagioius? My boyfriend found out he has one.

Answers:
No No No! A urinary tract infection is NOT contagious at all! However, you should keep in mind that it is a LOT easier for women to get one then for men to! Women can get them from wiping in appropriately after using the restroom (remember front to back!) Also, sexually active women who participate in anal sex are likely to get a UTI if the penis isn't WASHED between vaginal and anal contact. Drink LOTS of cranberry juice and plenty of water! And see your doctor!

Other Answers:
no and cranberry juice helps ease the irration
I don't think so, they normally originate from a Urinary tract infection, so I would say no. Google it!
No, a bladder infection is not a sexually transmitted disease.
No. Generally speaking, bladder infections are not contagious. Tell your boyfriend to drink Cranberry juice. It is excellent for kidney and bladder health (drink plenty of fluids, too).
Don`t think they contagious, but do take some kind of tablets. I would recommend you both take Tripple Berry Complex.
