Does staying too much in an air conditioned room at very low temperature have any effect on the brain?

Question:
I observed that I get dizzy at the end of the day after spending the day in the office and the room air conditioner is not controlled, so we don't get to adjust the temperature to suit weather changes. It gets pretty cold most times and I find that very uncomfortable.

Answers:
Yes, your metabolism will slow down, making it hard to concentrate. On the plus side, you may burn off extra calories, even when sitting, while trying to raise your core body temperature.
It can't be good going from hot to cold, to hot when you step in and out the building though.

it sounds like the air filters need cleaned real bad and if its too cold to where it bothers you tell your boss to turn it down a bit or put on a sweater if you got it
well there is no direct harm to brain but you may develop persistent cold or sinus
best way to prevent it is try to get out of the office whenever you feel uneasy or if possible try to switch off the AC every hour then switch on when you feel like
