Gallbladder removed, get sick when I eat then go outside.?
Question:
Answers:
join the club. I had mine removed and my mom did too. Thats the way we are along with a couple other people we know. We all kept a food dairy and wrote down when foods would make us "run" and what foods wouldn't. Now we have a pretty good idea what to avoid. You also might try going to a nutritionalist and let them inform you of foods to try and avoid. My mom has worse symptoms than me, but any fried foods get me good. She can't drink milk products or eat fried food.
All I know is to tell you good luck as you find a way to deal with this. And know that other people suffer as well. The above suggestions helped me, so maybe they will help you too

I had mine removed about a year ago and before the surgery everyone who had had theirs removed told me this would happen to me, but it never did. I don't know why some people have more problems with this then others. Greasy foods still upset my stomach and often cause nausea for me. Try to avoid greasy fried foods.
I can't answer this from first-hand knowledge as the other answers are but I commiserate with you. It would make sense that foods with fat (any kind of fat) aren't absorbed well and therefore cause nausea and upset stomach and diarrhea. You could try avoiding those foods and/or seeing a nutritionist to help. Also, ask your MDs if there's anything they can prescribe to make fatty foods cause less of a reaction. (Nothing comes to mind but I have little clinical experience.)
Hope this helps.
