Kidney Stones?

Question: I have a 6mm kidney stone. The stone is in the middle of the left kidney. I do not have any pain or discomfort. The urologist was to do a lithotripsy to break the stone but I am hesitant to do it because of the risks associated with the treatment. Do you think is better to leave the stone alone in the kidney ? Never had any problems before. Thanks.
