In order to take care of your dad, you need to take care of yourself. You being tired and stressed is not helping your dad. You need to get proper rest and "me time".Have a come to Jesus meeting with your brothers and tell them they have a moral obligation to help care for your dad. Good luck.
have a family meeting with the brothers and sisters and tell them this is really getting to you and you need at lease 2 days a week for some relief...oh...and weekends now and then. Make them take turns taking care of dad and you go do something for yourself. It will change your world completely and you'll be doing them a favor whether they like it or not. It's not fair if you have to do all of the caretaking.
I know some GREAT products and they are all natural...some people see results within days...email me and I can tell you more about the product and ingredients if you want to know more...sarahshull@yahoo.com
damp some cotton into warm water with a little salt and put it on your closed eyes for about 10 minutes everyday. you need to get enough sleep though.
Talk to your Doctor about something to help with the stress. Celexa is good for anxiety. Drink plenty of water. If you sleep better the dark circles may go away on their own, so see if you can get a sleep aid that works for you. Melatonin works, also diphenhydramine (Benadryl) but it can make you groggy. Or get one from the doc. And tell your family you need their help. They may not realize the stress you are under, esp. if you are the "strong" one. Maybe before you see your dad, you could put on a nice moisturizer that smells good. I know that sounds funny, but having that nice smell can make you feel better, you will smile more and he won't worry so much.
mrcricket1932 makes a good point. You could try Braggs, they make a liquid amino acid complex that looks kind of like soy sauce, and tastes pretty good, too. Hope you are feeling better!
Blackening around the eyes often indicates insufficient assimilation of proteins into the system...Stress can change the body's function enough to bring such a state about. If this is the factor in your case, may want to get some amino acids and start taking them. If you find any which include iodine, would be the better buy.
I'm very sorry to hear about your situation, but I'm glad your dad is ok and I hope things get better. I heard preparation H works because my friend tried it. Drink lots of water to increase your blood circulation, that helps too!
